Writing an Inconspicuous Life @ the Millbrook Literary Festival in Millbrook, NY
The subjects of Andrea Barnet’s Visionary Women (Jane Jacobs, Jane Goodall, Rachel Carson, and Alice Waters) forged their careers with limited support, few academic credentials, little public recognition. In How to Disappear, Akiko Busch considers the value of invisibility in a time of transparency. In this panel, these two writers will discuss those ways in which working inconspicuously, discreetly, and otherwise under the radar can serve ways of thinking, writing, being.
